Jorginho started his football journey in Brazil. He played for clubs like Caxias and Juventude in the late 1990s.
Playing in Japan
In the early 2000s, Jorginho moved to Japan. He joined Omiya Ardija in 2000. He played 49 games for them and scored 18 goals. This made him an important player for the team.
After Omiya Ardija, Jorginho played for Ventforet Kofu. He was with them from 2002 to 2003. During his time there, he played 24 matches and scored 9 goals. His time in Japan showed his skill as a forward.
