José Ángel Carmona Navarro (born on 29 January 2002) is a Spanish professional footballer. He plays for the La Liga club Sevilla. José Ángel usually plays as a right-back or right wing-back. He can also play as a centre-back.

José Ángel Carmona's Football Journey
José Ángel Carmona was born in El Viso del Alcor, a town in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. He started his football journey at a young age. He joined the youth academy of Sevilla FC, one of Spain's well-known football clubs.
Starting with Sevilla's Youth Team
Carmona worked his way up through the youth ranks at Sevilla. He made his first appearance as a senior player for Sevilla's reserve team on 21 November 2020. This was in a game against Córdoba CF, which Sevilla B won 2–1. He played for the last nine minutes of that match.
Moving to the Main Team
On 20 July 2021, José Ángel signed a new contract with Sevilla, which would keep him at the club until 2025. He made his debut for the main Sevilla team and in La Liga (Spain's top football league) on 13 March 2022. He came on as a substitute for Marcos Acuña in a 1–1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
Playing for Other Clubs on Loan
To gain more experience, Carmona joined another La Liga club, Elche, on loan on 11 January 2023. He played there until the end of that season. Later, on 20 July, he moved to Getafe, also on a temporary loan deal. These loan spells helped him play more games and develop his skills.
