José Guillermo Cortines (born December 5, 1973) is a famous actor and singer from the Dominican Republic. He has starred in movies, TV shows (called telenovelas), and plays. He is well-known for playing Mauricio Montiel in the TV show "El Rostro de Analía" and Osvaldo Guerra in "Más Sabe el Diablo". He also hosted the Miss Dominican Republic 2002 and Miss Dominican Republic 2004 beauty pageants.

José Guillermo studied in Santo Domingo at Colegio San Judas Tadeo. He also attended "Centro de Enseñanza El Buen Pastor". In 1996, he graduated from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU). He studied Graphic Design and Publicity. He also took singing lessons with famous teachers like Frank Ceara.

She is also a Dominican actress and TV presenter. He has two daughters. His first daughter, Marah, was born in 2001 from a previous relationship. His second daughter, Amelie, was born in 2018 with his wife, Dominique.
