José María "Chema" Antón Samper (born on March 19, 1989) is a Spanish professional footballer. He plays as a left back, which is a defensive position on the side of the field.

Chema Antón's Football Journey
Starting Young at Real Madrid
Chema Antón was born in Casas del Señor, a town in Spain. He started playing football at a young age. When he was 14, in 2003, he joined the youth academy of Real Madrid. This is one of the biggest football clubs in the world.
After four years in the youth system, Chema began playing for Real Madrid's B-team. This team is for younger players who are developing their skills. He played for them for three full seasons.
Playing for Different Clubs
In 2010, Chema moved to Real Betis. He played for their reserve team, Real Betis B, for one season. After that, in 2011, he had a trial with FC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
The next year, he joined Újpest FC, a club in Hungary's top football league. He played there for two seasons.
Returning to Spain and Moving to Finland
In 2015, Chema returned to Spain. He signed with UB Conquense. He continued to play in the third division of Spanish football. He also played for CD Guijuelo and CD Eldense.
In March 2017, Chema Antón signed a one-year contract with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK). This club is located in Finland and plays in the Veikkausliiga, which is Finland's highest football league.

Winning the Hungarian Cup
During his time with Újpest FC in Hungary, Chema Antón achieved a notable success. His team won the Magyar Kupa (Hungarian Cup) in the 2013–14 season. This is a major cup competition in Hungarian football.
