José María "Chema" Antón Samper (born on March 19, 1989) is a Spanish professional football player. He plays as a left back, which means he defends on the left side of the field.

Chema Antón's Football Journey
Early Career and Real Madrid
Chema Antón was born in Casas del Señor, a town in Spain. When he was 14 years old, in 2003, he joined the youth team of Real Madrid. This is one of the biggest football clubs in the world.
After four years, he started playing for the senior team. He spent three full seasons with Real Madrid B, which is the reserve team. They played in a league called Segunda División B.
Chema was even a substitute for the main Real Madrid team a couple of times. This means he was ready to play if someone got injured or needed a break. He was on the bench for a game against Sevilla FC in December 2008. He was also a substitute for a game against FC Barcelona.
Moving to Other Clubs
In July 2010, Chema Antón moved to Real Betis. He played for their reserve team, Real Betis B, for one season. They also played in the third division of Spanish football.
In the summer of 2011, he tried out for FC Red Bull Salzburg. After that, he signed with a club in Hungary called Újpest FC in 2012. This team plays in the top league in Hungary, the Nemzeti Bajnokság I.
On January 30, 2015, Chema joined UB Conquense. He continued to play in the third division of Spanish football. He also played for CD Guijuelo and CD Eldense in the following years.
In March 2017, Chema Antón signed a one-year contract with Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK). This team plays in the Finnish top league, the Veikkausliiga.
