Joseph Attieh's Music Journey
Starting His Career
Joseph Attieh was born in Batroun, Lebanon. He became famous when he was the first Lebanese artist to win the Arab version of Star Academy in 2005. This was a huge step for his music career.
In 2006, Joseph released his first song, "La Trouhy" (which means "Don't Go"). He also made a music video for it. This song quickly became a top seller in Lebanon and across the Middle East.
His second song, "Nahle" (meaning "A Bee"), came out in 2007. After that, he released "Habeit Oyounak" ("I Like Your Eyes"). He even sang this song during the final show of the fifth season of Star Academy. A music video was also made for this song.
Big Hits and First Album
In 2008, Joseph released a special song about his home country. This patriotic song, called "El Haq Ma Beymout" or "Lebnan Rah Yerjaa", became his biggest hit. It helped him win his first Murex d'Or award in 2009. Later that year, he sang his first Egyptian song, "Lina Rab". It was the theme song for an Egyptian movie.
In February 2010, Joseph released his first music album, named "Mawhoum". It had seven new songs. He also directed music videos for some of these songs himself, including "Mawhoum", "Teeb El Shouq", and "Habibi El Gharam". In the same year, he was nominated for "Best Arabian Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
More Albums and Awards
In August 2012, Joseph launched his second album, "Chou Btaemel Bel Nass", at a concert in Beirut. This album featured nine new songs. The next year, this album won him his second Murex d'Or Award for "Best Album".
In March 2015, Joseph released his third album, "Hobb W Mkattar" (meaning "Love And More"). This album included ten new songs for his fans.
In November 2017, his fourth album, "Al Aghani Li Amelta Elik" (meaning "The Songs I Made For You"), was released. It had many songs, including a piano version of "Ella Enta".
Between 2018 and 2022, Joseph released many single songs. These included "Omer Aasal", "Khatt Ahmar", "Hafzek Aan El Ghayeb", "Nass Bwab", "Tabii", and "Yenaad Aalayk".
In 2022, he released his fifth studio album, "Mnehkom Aal Nas". Since then, he has continued to release new singles. Some of his recent songs include "Jamal", "Koun", "Baghdada", "Hawas", "Wala Ghalta" (with Elyanna), and "Wala Momken".
