Joseph Siravo (born March 11, 1955 – died April 11, 2021) was an American actor. He also worked as a producer and educator. He performed on Broadway in plays that won Tony Awards. These plays were Oslo and The Light in the Piazza. He was known for his roles in TV shows and movies. He played Johnny Soprano in The Sopranos. He also played Fred Goldman in The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Joseph Siravo was born on March 11, 1955. He grew up in Washington, D.C.. He went to Stanford University and earned a degree. He also studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Joseph Siravo's Acting Career
Joseph Siravo started his screen acting career in 1993. His first movie was Carlito's Way. In this film, he played a character named Vincent "Vinnie" Taglialucci. Vinnie was looking for revenge for his family.
In 1997, Siravo appeared in an episode of Law & Order. He then joined the cast of The Sopranos in 1999. He played Johnny Soprano. This character was the father of the main character, Tony Soprano. Siravo appeared in five episodes of the popular TV series.
He also performed in the First National Tour of Jersey Boys. In this musical, he played Angelo DeCarlo. He performed this role over 2000 times.

Siravo played John Gotti in the 2015 movie The Wannabe. He also played Gene Gotti in the 1998 TV film Witness to the Mob. From 2013 to 2014, he played Niko in the NBC show The Blacklist.
In 2015, he appeared in Blue Bloods. He played Nicholas Bianco in an episode called "Love Stories." In 2016, Siravo was in the FX miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. He played Fred Goldman, who was the father of a murder victim. In 2019, he played Cardinal Mancini in New Amsterdam. This character was a senior official in charge of the Pope's security.
Siravo also played John A. Rizzo in the 2019 film The Report. This movie was produced by Steven Soderbergh.
