Joshua Kyle Beauchamp (March 31, 2000) is a dancer, singer, choreographer and model. He rose to prominence after joining the international pop group, Now United, representing Canada. However, Beauchamp expressed a desire to pursue a solo career and in 2022 had his last public performance as a member of the group.

Years Before Career

Since childhood, he always showed a love for dance, his biggest inspiration has always been the singer and dancer Michael Jackson… His mother, Ursula, realized the talent her son had and began taking him to dance classes at age 6.

But it didn't take so long for the young man to find his way and explode, and so he began his career in local competitions, becoming a standout during the contests and excelling by winning the 1st place. But Beauchamp says he went through tough years at school because he was the only dancing boy. He says he was often bullied, even changed schools and when he finally thought he was fitting into a group of classmates, also dancers, began to exclude him from the activities and that were very sad and lonely times.

Despite everything, Josh continued to persist in the dance business and during his teenage years, Josh Beauchamp created his own YouTube channel to share short dance videos. In 2015, singer Justin Bieber retweeted on Twitter one of Beauchamp's videos dancing to the song "Sorry". Beauchamp has also participated in TV shows in the dance business, such as "World of Dance", and has been praised and noticed by other celebrities such as, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter.

Career

Before becoming a member of the group Now United, Josh was part of large dance companies such as NXG Company and ImmaBEAST.

In 2017, during a season of competitions in Canada, Josh was summoned to travel to Los Angeles, California, United States, to participate in the auditions for a member of the global pop group, Now United. However, Canada was not included as one of the countries for casting, so he continued to audition for the United States, since he has American citizenship on his mother's side. However, he almost lost his place to his former group mate Noah Urrea, when the creator of the project, Simon Fuller, learned that Josh was actually Canadian, and decided to put him in the group to represent his country of origin.

In 2018, he participated for the 2nd time in the American reality show "World of Dance" in the "Junior" division together with the dancer and his childhood friend, Taylor Hatala. In the second season of the show, they left the judges "in love" with the duo's performance to the sound of "Fallin", a hit by singer Alicia Keys.

Throughout this period, Beauchamp was also invited to give dance classes in some countries like Brazil (partitioned by Rexona), Japan, South Korea (contacted by the Millenium Dance Complex), Thailand (invited by Asia Camp) and Los Angeles

In 2020, Josh developed anxiety after several mean and negative comments on the internet after he mentioned during an Instagram live that he helped his friend and choreographer, Kyle Hanagami, craft choreographies for K-Pop groups, such as BlackPink. Beauchamp, deactivated Twitter for a period of time and stepped away from Instagram, claiming that he was stepping away for personal reasons and to preserve his mental health. A while later, during a live on Instagram, he clarified the situation and explained that it was a misunderstanding and people misinterpret it.

Also in 2020, Josh along with dancer Charlize Glass, was invited to participate in the music video "That's What Love Is", song from singer Justin Bieber's album "Changes".

On November 10, 2022, Josh announced that he would pursue a solo career, with the announcement of his departure for the group, leading the "Forever United Tour" as his last show as a member of Now United.

Currently, Beauchamp has been working on his debut solo album, which has yet to be released. In addition, he is frequently involved in rehearsals for some brands and is developing a great interest and investment as a model. He was present at the last Giorgio Armani and DSQUARED2 fashion show, where he had the pleasure of meeting the owners of the brands and seeing how all the production for the shows works behind the cameras.

Josh Beauchamp was born on March 31, 2000, in the city of Edmonton, located in the province of Alberta, Canada, but grew up in St. Albert, in the Edmonton metropolitan area.
