About Josh Beauchamp
Early Life and Dance
Joshua Kyle Beauchamp was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He grew up in the nearby city of St. Albert, Alberta. His father, Ron, is Canadian, and his mother, Ursula, is American. Josh has two brothers, an older one named Jonah and a younger one named Jaden.
Josh started taking dance lessons when he was six years old. He loved to dance from a young age.
Dance Groups and TV Shows
Before joining Now United, Josh was part of two dance companies. These were called NXG Company and ImmaBeast. He showed off his amazing dance skills on TV.
Josh appeared on the American reality television show World of Dance. He was part of the ImmaBeast group in season one. In season two, he competed as a pair. His dance partner was his childhood friend, Taylor Hatala.
Joining Now United
In 2017, a famous music producer named Simon Fuller invited Josh to audition. Simon Fuller wanted to create a new global pop group called Now United. Josh originally wanted to represent the United States. He has American citizenship through his mother.
However, Simon Fuller learned about Josh's Canadian background. So, Josh was allowed to represent Canada in the group. He became one of the founding members of Now United.
Josh was a member of Now United for five years. On November 10, 2022, he announced he was leaving the group. He wanted to start his own solo music career. The "Forever United Tour" was his last tour with Now United.
Solo Career and Other Projects
Josh Beauchamp is now working on his first solo album. He is excited to share his own music with the world.
He also appeared in a music video for Justin Bieber. Josh and dancer Charlize Glass were featured in the video. It was for the song "That's What Love Is." This song is from Justin Bieber's album Changes.
