José Rodrigues Neto (born December 6, 1949 – died April 29, 2019) was a talented Brazilian footballer. He was known for playing as a left-back. He played for many famous clubs in Brazil and Argentina. He also proudly represented the Brazil national football team.

Playing Career Highlights

José Rodrigues Neto started his football journey in 1965. He played for several big clubs throughout his career. He was known for his strong defense and good passes.

Early Club Years

Neto began his professional career with Vitória-ES. He then moved to Flamengo in 1967. He spent eight years at Flamengo, playing in 97 games and scoring 5 goals. This was a very important part of his career.

Moving to Other Brazilian Clubs
