Juan Manuel "Juanma" Moreno Bonilla (born 1 May 1970) is an important Spanish politician. He is the current President of the Government of Andalusia. He has held this top position since 18 January 2019. He is also the leader of the Andalusian branch of the People's Party, which is a major conservative political party in Spain.
Before becoming president, Juanma Moreno served in different parts of the Spanish government. He was a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies and the Senate of Spain. He also served as a member of the Parliament of Andalusia.

Early Life and Education
Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, in 1970. His parents, Juan Moreno and María Bonilla, were from Alhaurín el Grande in the Province of Málaga, Andalusia. When he was only three months old, his family moved back to their home region of Andalusia. He grew up there.
Moreno studied at Camilo José Cela University. He earned a bachelor's degree in Protocol and Institutional Relations. This field teaches how to manage official events and relationships between different organizations.
Political Journey
Juanma Moreno began his political career at a young age. He joined the People's Party, which is one of Spain's main political groups.
Starting in Local Government (1995–1997)
In 1995, when he was 25 years old, Moreno was elected as a city councilor in Málaga. He worked in the Málaga city government as the Councillor for Youth and Sport. He also led the Municipal Board for the districts of Campanillas and Puerto de la Torre.
Serving in the Regional Parliament (1997–2000)
In 1997, at 27, he became a Member of Parliament for Málaga in the Parliament of Andalusia. He was a spokesperson for youth issues for his political group. During this time, he also became the national president of "New Generations," which is the youth wing of the People's Party.
Working in the National Parliament (2000–2011)
From 2000 to 2011, Juanma Moreno served as a national deputy in the Spanish Congress of Deputies. He represented different areas, including Cantabria and Málaga. In this role, he helped make laws for the whole country. He was involved in committees dealing with science, technology, and social affairs.
Becoming President of Andalusia (2019)
In the 2018 Andalusian elections, Juanma Moreno led the People's Party. His party won 26 seats in the regional parliament. The Spanish Socialist Party won more seats, but they did not have enough to govern alone.
Moreno's party formed an agreement with another party called Ciudadanos. They also received support from the party Vox. With this support, Juanma Moreno was elected President of Andalusia. He became the first conservative president of Andalusia in Spain's modern democracy.
Re-election with a Strong Majority (2022)
In 2022, new elections were called in Andalusia. In the 2022 autonomous elections, the People's Party, led by Moreno, achieved a big victory. They won 58 seats, which gave them an absolute majority in the parliament. This meant they could govern Andalusia without needing support from other parties. This was a historic win for his party in the region.
Juanma Moreno is married to Manuela Villena. They have three children.
