Juan Vidal (born February 12, 1977) is an actor from the Dominican Republic. He is well-known for his acting roles, especially in Mexico, where he currently lives.
Juan became famous in his home country after winning the Mister Dominican Republic contest in 1995. After that, he took part in the Mister World competition in Turkey. He then decided to study acting and writing for plays at the Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico. This school is part of the big TV company Televisa.
Juan Vidal's Acting Career
Juan Vidal started his acting journey in the United States. His first role was on a TV series called The Guiding Light on the CBS channel. In 1999, he moved to Mexico. There, he became very popular for acting in many telenovelas, which are long TV dramas.
Most of Juan's acting work has been in Mexico. However, he has also performed in several theater plays in the United States and the Dominican Republic. Juan Vidal is known for being the only actor from TV Azteca (another big TV company) to be recognized at the TVyNovelas Awards. Even though he doesn't have an exclusive contract with TV Azteca anymore, he continues to act in many different projects.
