Early Life and Education
Judi Curtin was born in Kenton, London. Her parents were from County Kerry in Ireland. When Judi was eight, her family moved to Douglas, County Cork.
She studied English and German at University College Cork. After her degree, Judi trained to be a primary school teacher. She went to St Patrick's College in Drumcondra. Judi worked as a teacher for 15 years.
Becoming a Writer
Judi Curtin has lived in many places. These include Cork, Dublin, Portlaoise, and London. She moved to Limerick in 1987. She lives there now with her husband, cat, and three children.
Judi started writing novels in 1999. Her very first book was published in 2003. She began writing books specifically for children in 2005.
