Julien Mari (born on 14 January 1990), known as Jul, is a famous French rapper, singer, and music producer. He is known for his unique style and for releasing a lot of music.
By February 2020, Jul became the top-selling artist in French rap history. He had sold over 4 million albums in just six years. By April 2022, his album sales grew to 5.5 million. He achieved all this by the age of 30.

Julien François Alain Mari was born on January 14, 1990. His parents are from Corsica. He grew up in Marseille, France. He lived in the Saint-Jean du Désert area of Marseille. This was from his childhood until he started his music career.
Jul's Music Career: From First Single to Stardom
Jul released his very first song, "Sors le cross volé", in November 2013. His first album, "Dans ma paranoïa", came out on February 24, 2014. It was released by a small music company called Liga One Industry.
This album was just the start of many. Since then, Jul has released at least two albums every year. All of his albums have sold very well. They have earned at least a platinum certification. His first album was followed by "Lacrizeomic" and "Je trouve pas le sommeil". All three of these albums made it onto the official French music charts.
In 2015, Jul decided to leave Liga One Industry. He had some disagreements with the company. After that, he started his own music label. It is called "D'Or et de Platine". He released his music independently through his own label. In 2017, his album "My World" won a big award. It was named "Urban Music Album of the Year" at the 32nd Victoires de la Musique awards.
