Julian Kostov (born August 25, 1989) is a talented actor, filmmaker, and talent manager from Bulgaria. He is well-known for his role as Fedyor in the exciting Netflix series Shadow and Bone. He also played Vladimir Makarov in the popular video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Julian Kostov's Early Life and Education
Julian Kostov was born in Varna, Bulgaria, on August 25, 1989. When he was 12, he became a champion in pentathlon for his age group. He was also an amazing swimmer, winning the National Swimming Champion title 10 times between 2005 and 2009. In 2008, he earned the special title of Master of Sport in Swimming. Julian has won over 60 medals as a professional swimmer, including a bronze medal at the 2007 Balkan Games.
He went to the Frederic Joliot-Curie School in Varna, which taught in Spanish. Later, he studied international business at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. After two years, Julian decided to move to the United Kingdom. He wanted to become an actor, inspired by Heath Ledger's acting in the movie The Dark Knight. He finished his studies at Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2011, earning a degree in Business Studies.
In 2011, Julian was accepted into the National Youth Theatre. He started auditioning for acting agents and eventually signed with one. He later got a role in a Gillette commercial. During this time, he also took acting classes in London to improve his skills.

In 2021, he became well-known for playing Fedyor Kaminsky in the first season of the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone.
In 2023, Julian Kostov played Vladimir Makarov in the video game Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III. He also starred in the superhero film The Toxic Avenger, which was directed by Macon Blair. In 2024, Julian starred in the Belgian historical drama The Last Front. He was also cast in the third season of the popular TV show The White Lotus, which is expected in 2025. Julian is also a producer and actor in the film Triumph, and he will star alongside Josh Hartnett in the upcoming film Fight Or Flight.
