Her Acting Career

Julie Bennett grew up in Hollywood. She became an actress, working on stage, on the radio, and in movies and TV shows. Some of the TV shows she appeared in include The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, Adventures of Superman, and Dragnet.

Voice Acting

Julie Bennett was especially famous for her voice acting. She lent her voice to many cartoon characters from the 1950s to the early 2000s. She worked with big animation studios like Warner Bros., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Hanna-Barbera Productions.

She is best known as the voice of Cindy Bear from The Yogi Bear Show. She also voiced Cindy in the movie Hey There, It's Yogi Bear! and other Yogi Bear cartoons like Yogi's Treasure Hunt.

Later, in the 1990s, she became the voice of Aunt May Parker in the animated TV series Spider-Man. This was a very popular role for her.
