She played Parker Lee in Veronica Mars, Maggie Dekker in Eli Stone, and Pamela Rebecca Barnes in the soap opera Dallas. More recently, she played Andrea Rojas in Supergirl. Since 2016, Julie has also appeared in many movies made for TV on the Hallmark Channel.

Early life
Julieta Susana Gonzalo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When she was 8 years old, her family moved to Miami Beach, Florida, in the United States.
Julie started her career as a model. Later, she became very interested in acting and began taking theater classes. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Her first movie role was in the 2002 romantic comedy I'm with Lucy.
Acting career
Julie Gonzalo first appeared on television in a comedy series called Greetings from Tucson. In 2003, she was in an episode of NCIS. She also guest-starred in the first episode of Drake & Josh in 2004.
Early films
Julie also acted in several movies early in her career. In 2003, she played a rival character in Freaky Friday, starring Lindsay Lohan. The next year, she had a similar role in the romantic comedy A Cinderella Story, with Hilary Duff. She also appeared in DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story and Christmas with the Kranks. In 2005, she was in another romantic comedy called Must Love Dogs.
TV series roles
In 2006, Julie Gonzalo joined the cast of the mystery TV series Veronica Mars as Parker Lee. After that show ended, she was chosen for a main role in the ABC comedy-drama Eli Stone. She played Maggie Dekker in this series. In 2008, she won an ALMA Award for her role in Eli Stone. The show ran for two seasons.
Later, Julie guest-starred in popular shows like Castle, Nikita, The Glades, and CSI: Miami.
In 2011, Julie was cast in the new version of the TV show Dallas. She played Rebecca Sutter, who was later revealed to be Pamela Rebecca Barnes. This show aired from 2012 to 2014. After Dallas, she appeared in many Hallmark Channel TV movies. She also guest-starred in Grey's Anatomy and Lucifer.
From 2019 to 2021, Julie Gonzalo played Andrea Rojas in the superhero series Supergirl.

In 2017, Julie met actor Chris McNally while they were working on a Hallmark TV movie called The Sweetest Heart. In June 2022, Julie announced on Instagram that she and Chris had welcomed their first child together.
