Julie Trustrup Jensen, born on April 6, 1994, is a talented Danish football player. She plays as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both defend and attack on the field. Julie has played for the Danish national team and for a club called Vålerenga in Norway.
Julie's Club Football Journey
Julie started her football journey at a club called B73 Slagelse. In 2009, she joined Brøndby IF, a well-known team. She played very well during the 2010–11 season. Because of her great performance, Julie was named Denmark's Young Player of the Year.
Winning with Brøndby
Julie scored an important goal in the Danish Women's Cup final. Her team, Brøndby, won the match 3–2 against their rivals, Fortuna Hjørring. In 2014, Julie took a break from football to travel the world. But she soon returned to play for Brøndby.
In June 2015, Julie scored another winning goal in the Cup final. This time, it was an injury time goal against Fortuna. Brøndby won that game 2–1, showing her skill in crucial moments.
Playing for Her Country
Julie Trustrup Jensen made her first appearance for the Denmark women's national football team in September 2013. She came into the game as a substitute for her Brøndby teammate, Nanna Christiansen. This happened in the 53rd minute of a friendly match against Hungary. Denmark won that game 4–0.
Julie was also part of the Danish team that played in the 2016 Algarve Cup. This is a big international tournament for women's national teams.
