Julieta Lazcano (born on July 25, 1989) is a talented volleyball player from Argentina. She plays as a middle blocker, which is a key position in volleyball. Middle blockers are usually tall players who try to block the opponent's spikes and also score points with their own attacks.
Julieta has been a very important player for the Argentine national team for many years. She started playing for the national team when she was younger, even at the junior level.
Julieta's National Team Journey
Julieta Lazcano has represented Argentina in many big international volleyball competitions. She has played in the Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup several times, helping her team compete against other countries in the Americas.
She also took part in the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, which is a major annual tournament for national teams around the world. Julieta was part of the Argentine team that played in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy and the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup in Japan. These are some of the biggest tournaments in volleyball!
A very special moment for Julieta was when she played in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. Representing your country at the Olympics is a huge honor for any athlete. She also competed in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.
Winning a Medal
One of Julieta's proudest achievements with the national team was winning a bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. This was a fantastic accomplishment for the Argentine women's volleyball team.
