Jun Aoyama's Club Journey
Jun Aoyama was born in Sendai, Japan. He started his football journey with Nagoya Grampus in 2006. Before that, he played for their youth team.
Early Career and Moves
He didn't get to play many matches at Nagoya Grampus. So, in May 2008, he moved to Cerezo Osaka. This team was in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football division. He played in many games for Cerezo Osaka.
In 2009, Jun Aoyama joined Tokushima Vortis. He became a regular player for this team. He played many matches and was an important part of the squad.
Moving to J1 League
In 2011, he moved to Urawa Reds, a club in the J1 League. This is Japan's top football division. However, he didn't get much playing time there.
So, in 2012, he returned to Tokushima Vortis. He played in many games again. His team, Tokushima Vortis, was promoted to the J1 League at the end of the 2013 season. This was a big achievement for the club.
Later Career and Retirement
After being promoted, Jun Aoyama's chances to play decreased. The club was relegated back to the J2 League after just one season. He decided to retire from professional football in July 2015.
Playing for Japan's National Team
Jun Aoyama also represented his country, Japan, in youth tournaments.
U-20 World Cup Experience
In July 2007, he was chosen to play for the Japan national under-20 football team. They competed in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. This is a big international tournament for young players.
At the tournament, Jun Aoyama played in three matches. He played as a defensive midfielder, helping to protect his team's goal. He even scored a goal for Japan in their 3–1 win against Scotland. This goal came in the 79th minute of the game.
