Jun Muramatsu (村松 潤, Muramatsu Jun, born April 10, 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder.

Football Journey

Jun Muramatsu was born in Shizuoka, Japan, on April 10, 1982. He started his football career in the youth team of Shimizu S-Pulse. This team plays in the J1 League, which is Japan's top professional football league.

Early Career

In 2001, Muramatsu joined the main Shimizu S-Pulse team. He made his first appearance in a game in 2002. Over the next few years, he got more chances to play as a defensive midfielder. By 2004, he was playing more often. However, in 2005, he didn't get to play much.

Moving to New Teams

In 2006, Muramatsu moved to Vegalta Sendai, a club in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-tier league. But even there, he didn't play many games.

His career changed in 2007 when he joined Mito HollyHock, another J2 League team. Here, he became a regular player and an important part of the team as a defensive midfielder. He played many matches for Mito HollyHock until 2009.

In 2010, he moved to Giravanz Kitakyushu, a team that had just been promoted to the J2 League. However, he didn't play as much as he did at Mito HollyHock.

Retirement

In 2011, Jun Muramatsu moved to the reserve team of FC Gifu. He continued to play until the end of the 2012 season, when he decided to retire from professional football. Throughout his career, he played a total of 138 league games and scored 2 goals.
