June A. Carryl (born June 10, 1967) is an American actress and writer. She has appeared in many TV shows and movies, including the Netflix series Mindhunter.
About June Carryl
June Carryl grew up in Denver with her mother and two younger siblings. She first studied political science in college. This subject is about how governments and societies work. She thought about becoming a lawyer.
However, she later changed her mind. She decided to study English Literature instead. She noticed that her friends who became lawyers were often unhappy. She also found it difficult to do the internships needed for law school.
June discovered she loved writing plays. Even though her first play wasn't a big success, she kept writing. In 2017, she won an award for her play THE GOOD MINISTER FROM HARARE. This award was called the AADA Award Saroyan/Paul Award for Plays About Human Rights.
Later, one of her teachers suggested she try acting. She was asked to join a class play, and she really enjoyed it! That's how she started her journey into acting.
