Juninho's Football Journey
Juninho Fonseca had a long and exciting career playing football. He started his professional journey in 1974 with a team called Ponte Preta. He played there for many years, showing off his skills as a strong defender.
Playing for Big Clubs
After his time at Ponte Preta, Juninho moved to some of Brazil's biggest football clubs. From 1983 to 1986, he played for Corinthians, a very popular team. He also played for Juventus and Vasco da Gama in 1986. Later, he joined Cruzeiro in 1987.
In 1988, he played for XV de Piracicaba and Atlético Paranaense. He even returned to Ponte Preta in 1989 for another short period. His career also took him to São José, Nacional, and Olímpia in the early 1990s.
Playing in Japan
Juninho finished his playing career in Japan. He played for Yomiuri FC from 1991 to 1992. This was a great experience for him, playing in a different country and helping his team win important titles.
Playing for Brazil
Juninho Fonseca also had the honor of playing for the Brazil national football team. He played four international games for Brazil between 1980 and 1982.
