Steve Lamont "Junior" Robinson Jr. was born on February 15, 1996, in Mebane, North Carolina. He is an American basketball player who plays as a Point guard. He last played for BBC Monthey-Chablais in the Swiss Basketball League (SBL). Before becoming a professional player, he played college basketball for Mount St. Mary's.

College Basketball Journey
Junior Robinson went to Eastern Alamance High School. He was a fantastic scorer, getting 2,228 points during his high school career. This was the 17th highest score in North Carolina high school history.
Playing for Mount St. Mary's
Even though he was one of the shortest players in college basketball at 5 feet 5 inches tall, Junior made a big impact.
- Freshman Year (2014-2015): He averaged 8.2 points per game. He was also named to the NEC all-rookie team, which means he was one of the best new players in his conference.
- Sophomore Year (2015-2016): Junior improved, scoring 12.6 points per game. He was named to the Second Team All-Northeast Conference.
- Junior Year (2016-2017): He averaged 14.1 points per game. Junior helped his team, Mount St. Mary's, reach the NCAA tournament. This is a huge competition for college teams. In their first game, he scored 23 points, helping his team win against New Orleans. He was again named to the Second Team All-Northeast Conference.
- Senior Year (2017-2018): This was his best college season. Junior averaged 22.0 points and 4.8 assists per game. He led the Mountaineers to finish second in their conference. He was named the NEC Player of the Year. This is a big award for the best player in the conference.
Professional Basketball Career
After finishing college in 2018, Junior Robinson was not chosen in the 2018 NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally.
Starting in Spain
He joined the Atlanta Hawks for the NBA Summer League. On August 22, 2018, Junior signed with Sáenz Horeca Araberri in Spain. This team plays in the LEB Oro league. In his very first professional game on October 6, he scored an amazing 47 points. This was the second-highest score ever in a single game in that league's history!
After dealing with a knee injury, Junior signed with Grupo Alega Cantabria CBT in Spain's LEB Plata league in 2020. Later in 2020, he moved to Finland to play for Kipinä Basket for the 2020-2021 season.
Later Career
On October 27, 2021, Junior signed with the Greensboro Swarm. This team is part of the NBA G League in the United States. However, he was waived by the team on November 6, 2021.
Since then, Junior has continued his professional career overseas. He played for Raiffeisen Panthers Fürstenfeld in Austria from 2022 to 2023. Most recently, he played for BBC Monthey-Chablais in Switzerland during the 2023-2024 season.
