Steve Lamont "Junior" Robinson jr, born on February 15, 1996, is an American basketball player. He is known for his exciting college career with Mount St. Mary's. He last played for BBC Monthey-Chablais in the Swiss Basketball League. Junior was born in Mebane, North Carolina.

Junior's College Basketball Journey
Junior Robinson, a 5-foot-5 guard, went to Eastern Alamance High School. He scored an amazing 2,228 points during his high school career. This made him the 17th highest scorer in North Carolina high school history.
Freshman and Sophomore Years
Even though he was one of the shortest players in college basketball, Junior did very well. As a freshman, he scored 8.2 points per game. He was even named to the NEC all-rookie team. In his second year, he scored 12.6 points per game. He also made the Second Team All-Northeast Conference.
Leading the Mountaineers to Success
As a junior, Junior averaged 14.1 points per game. He helped his team, Mount St. Mary's, reach the NCAA tournament. They were a 16 seed, which is a tough spot. In their first game, he scored 23 points against New Orleans. He was again named to the Second Team All-Northeast Conference that year.
In his senior year, Junior was outstanding. He averaged 22.0 points and 4.8 assists per game. He led the Mountaineers to finish second in their conference. He was named the NEC Player of the Year. This was a huge honor!
Junior's Professional Career
After college, Junior Robinson was not chosen in the 2018 NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play. He signed with the Atlanta Hawks for the NBA Summer League.
Playing in Spain
On August 22, 2018, Junior signed with Sáenz Horeca Araberri in Spain. This team plays in the LEB Oro league. In his very first professional game on October 6, he scored 47 points! This was the second-highest score ever in a single game in that league.
Later, he signed with Grupo Alega Cantabria CBT in the LEB Plata league. He had missed the start of the season because of a knee injury.
Playing in Finland and Austria
At the end of 2020, Junior moved to Finland. He signed with Kipinä Basket for the rest of the 2020-2021 season. Later, he played for the Raiffeisen Panthers Fürstenfeld in Austria from 2022 to 2023.
Most Recent Teams
In 2023, Junior joined BBC Monthey-Chablais in Switzerland. He played for them until 2024. He also had a short time with the Greensboro Swarm in October 2019, but was later waived.
