Justin Hires is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was born on June 24, 1985. Many people know him from his roles in popular TV shows and movies. He played Detective James Carter in the CBS TV series Rush Hour. He was also Juario in the movie 21 Jump Street. Later, he became well-known as Wilt Bozer in the 2016 reboot series of MacGyver.

Justin Hires was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. His birthday is June 24, 1985. His mom, Barbara Hires, worked for schools in Pinellas County.
Justin went to Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg. He graduated from there. After high school, he attended Clark Atlanta University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the university. He also made many short, funny videos that were popular online.
Justin Hires' Acting Career
Justin Hires started his acting career with smaller roles. He appeared in two movies early on. These films were Stomp the Yard in 2007 and The Gospel in 2005.
In 2012, he had a role as Juario in the movie 21 Jump Street. This was a popular comedy film. He also appeared in the TV show Key and Peele from 2012 to 2015.
A big step in his career came in 2015. Justin joined the cast of the TV series Rush Hour. In this show, he played Detective James Carter. This was a main role for him.
In June 2016, Justin Hires was cast in another major TV series. He joined the MacGyver reboot. He played the character Wilt Bozer. This role lasted for many years, from 2016 to 2021. He was in 94 episodes of MacGyver.
He has also done voice acting. In 2018, he voiced Hodari in an episode of The Lion Guard. More recently, in 2024, he was in the movie Half Baked: Totally High. He played Curtis and also helped write the film.
