Justin Loomans (born May 22, 1975) is an Australian former professional rugby league player. He played as a winger or centre during the 1990s. Justin started his career with the North Queensland Cowboys in their very first season. He later played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Early Life and Rugby Beginnings
Justin Loomans was born in Rockhampton, Queensland. He is from an Indigenous Australian background. He went to Rockhampton State High School. Justin was first part of a special program with the Brisbane Broncos. Later, the North Queensland Cowboys signed him in 1994.
Playing Career Highlights
Starting with the Cowboys
Justin made his first-grade debut for the Cowboys in 1995. He was only 19 years old at the time. This first game was against the Canberra Raiders. A week later, he scored his first try against the Brisbane Broncos.
In Round 8, Justin was part of a big moment. He played in the Cowboys' first-ever win. They beat the Illawarra Steelers 14–10. Justin had a great first year. He was one of the Cowboys' top try scorers. He scored nine tries in 16 games.
Continued Success and New Teams
In 1996, Justin was again a top try scorer for the Cowboys. He scored eight tries in 21 games. In 1997, the Cowboys played in the Super League competition. Justin played seven games and scored two tries that year.
In 1998, Justin moved to Sydney. He joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs. He played for them for two seasons. During this time, he scored 12 tries in 35 games. The Rabbitohs were having a tough time. Justin even scored a try in their last game before the club was removed from the NRL competition.
After the Rabbitohs left the NRL in 1999, Justin went back to Queensland. He played in the Queensland Cup. He played for the Easts Tigers and his hometown team, the Central Comets. He scored 39 tries for the Comets.

Life After Playing Rugby
After he stopped playing rugby, Justin Loomans became a mentor and trainer. He worked with a junior development program for the Central Queensland NRL bid. He also became the Operations Manager for Central Queensland Indigenous Development. In these roles, he helps young people and supports Indigenous communities.
