Justin Anthony Senior (born July 8, 1994) is a Canadian former American football player. He played as an offensive tackle. This position is part of the offensive line, helping to protect the quarterback and block for runners. Justin was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2017 NFL draft. Before playing professionally, he played college football at Mississippi State University.
Playing in College
Justin Senior decided to play college football at Mississippi State University. He joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs team. For three years, from 2014 to 2016, he was the starting right tackle. This means he was a key player on the offensive line. After his 2016 season, Justin won the Kent Hull Trophy. This award goes to the best college offensive lineman in Mississippi.
Professional Football Career
Seattle Seahawks
In 2017, Justin Senior was chosen in two different football drafts. The Seattle Seahawks picked him in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL draft. He was the 210th player chosen overall. The Edmonton Eskimos also drafted him in the fifth round of the 2017 CFL Draft.
On May 12, 2017, the Seahawks signed Justin to a four-year contract. However, on August 21, 2017, he was released by the Seahawks due to an injury. He was later fully released from his contract on December 12, 2017.
Kansas City Chiefs
On February 19, 2019, Justin Senior signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the Chiefs released him from the team on June 13, 2019.
