Józef Grudzień (born April 1, 1939 – died June 17, 2017) was a famous Polish boxer. He was known for winning two medals at the Olympic Games, including a gold medal! He also won medals at the European Amateur Boxing Championships.

Józef Grudzień was born on April 1, 1939, in a place called Piasek Wielki in Poland. This area is close to Busko-Zdrój. He became a very successful boxer in the lightweight division.

He won a gold medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and a silver medal at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. He also earned a silver medal at the 1965 European Amateur Championships in East Berlin. Two years later, he won a gold medal at the 1967 European Amateur Championships in Rome.

In 1991, Józef Grudzień was honored with the Aleksander Reksza Boxing Award for his achievements.
