K. Tempest Bradford (born April 19, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an African-American author and editor. She writes exciting science fiction and fantasy stories. From 2007 to 2009, she was an editor for Fantasy Magazine.

Her first book for middle schoolers, Ruby Finley vs. the Interstellar Invasion, came out in 2022. This book won the Andre Norton Award in 2023, which is a big deal for young adult fiction!
