Kairat Nurtas (born 25 February 1989) is a famous singer from Kazakhstan. He is known for his popular songs and has been one of the top Kazakh musicians based on how many of his CDs were sold.
About Kairat Nurtas
Kairat Nurtas first performed on stage when he was 10 years old. This happened in Baikonur. He shared the stage with other well-known performers.
He released his first song and album in 2006. But he became really famous after his first solo concert in 2008 in Almaty. After this concert, his popularity grew a lot.
In the same year, Kairat and his mother, Gulzira Aidarbekova, started a company. His mother is also his producer and helps him with his music. The company is called "Kairat Nurtas Production" LLP.
Kairat has sung songs by many important Kazakh composers. Some of these include Shamshy Kaldayakov and Aset Beiseuov.
In April 2013, a movie about his life was released. It was called Ökınış, which means Regret. It told a dramatic story about his journey as a singer. His mother also helped produce and support his performances for the movie.
In 2020, Kairat Nurtas was named the "Best Kazakhstani performer". This was based on the EMA-2020 results. Also in 2020, he became an honorary citizen of Shymkent. This is a special title given to people who have done great things for the city.

Kairat's father is Nurtas Aidarbekov. His mother is Gulzira Aidarbekova, who was born in 1968. Kairat also has two younger brothers named Ayan and Zangar.
Since 2008, Kairat has been married to Zhuldyz Abdukarimova. She was born on April 14, 1988. They have four children together. Their daughters are named Alau and Sezim. Their sons are named Narul and Khan.
