Kaiya's Acting Career
Kaiya Jones started her acting journey playing Jess Cooper. This was in the TV show The Saddle Club from 2008 to 2009.
In February 2009, Kaiya got a new role. She was chosen to play Sophie Ramsay in the Australian TV show Neighbours. She started filming her scenes for Neighbours in the same month. Kaiya really enjoyed her time on the show. She told the Daily Record newspaper that filming Neighbours was a lot of fun. She said she loved her job and the cast and crew were like a second family.
Kaiya left Neighbours in 2012. Her last episode aired the next year. In 2013, she appeared in an episode of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. She played a character named Poppy.
Kaiya also wrote and directed a short film. It was called Coping. The film is about three children who become orphans and go to live with their uncle. Coping was one of 16 films chosen to be shown at Tropfest. This happened on December 8, 2013. Kaiya was even named the Best Female Actor at the festival. In 2014, Kaiya was cast in a TV miniseries called Party Tricks.
In 2017, Kaiya wrote and directed another short film. It was called Jolly Roger. This film was shown at the St Kilda Film Festival on May 22, 2017.
