Kaiya Jones was born on March 19, 1996. She is an actress from Scotland who grew up in Australia. She is well-known for playing Sophie Ramsay in the Australian TV show Neighbours. Before that, she played Jess Cooper in The Saddle Club.

Early Roles: The Saddle Club and Neighbours
From 2008 to 2009, Kaiya played the role of Jess Cooper in the TV show The Saddle Club. This show was about a group of friends who loved horses.
In February 2009, it was announced that Kaiya would join the popular Australian TV show Neighbours. She started filming her scenes for Neighbours that same month. In the show, she played the character of Sophie Ramsay. Kaiya really enjoyed her time on the show. She told the Daily Record newspaper that filming Neighbours was "so much fun." She also said that the cast and crew were "so kind and lovely" and felt like her "second family."
Kaiya left Neighbours in 2012, and her last episode aired in 2013.
Other Projects and Directing Work
After Neighbours, Kaiya continued to act and explore other creative roles. In 2013, she appeared as a guest star named Poppy in an episode of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.
Kaiya also started writing and directing her own films. She made a short film called Coping. This film tells the story of three children who become orphans and go to live with their uncle. Coping was chosen to be shown at the Tropfest film festival on December 8, 2013. At the festival, Kaiya won an award for Best Female Actor.
In 2014, Kaiya joined the cast of the TV miniseries Party Tricks. Later, in 2017, she wrote and directed another short film called Jolly Roger. This film was shown at the St Kilda Film Festival on May 22, 2017.
