Kani Sur (Persian: كاني سور) is a small city in Iran. It is located in the Kurdistan province, which is in the western part of the country. Kani Sur is the main town, or capital, of the Namshir District. This district is part of a larger area called Baneh County.
Kani Sur also acts as an important administrative center. It helps manage the Kani Sur Rural District, which includes smaller villages and areas around the city.
