Karla-Simone Spence is a talented British actress. She was born on July 19, 1996. She is well-known for her roles in the film Blue Story (2019). Early Life and Discovering Acting
Karla-Simone grew up in South London, England. Her family has roots in Jamaica. She found her love for acting when she was 11 years old. This happened after she played Joseph in her primary school's production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She attended Haberdashers' Hatcham College in New Cross. Her older brother, Djed Spence, is a professional footballer.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Karla-Simone Spence began her television career in 2018. She played a character named Amber in the BBC Three comedy series Wannabe. The next year, 2019, was a big one for her. She starred as Cali Okello in the BBC One miniseries Gold Digger. In the same year, she took on the main female role, Leah, in the movie Blue Story. This film was very popular and received good reviews. Her performance in Blue Story earned her nominations at the National Film Awards UK.

In August 2021, it was announced that Karla-Simone would play the main character, Frannie Langton. This was for the historical drama The Confessions of Frannie Langton. In April 2022, Karla-Simone performed on stage for the first time as a professional actress. She appeared in a play called House of Ife at the Bush Theatre in London.
