Karyaku facts for kids
Karyaku (also known as Kareki) was a special name for a time period in Japanese history. These time periods are called nengō (pronounced "nen-goh"). The Karyaku era came after the Shōchū era and before the Gentoku era. It lasted for a few years, from April 1326 to August 1329. During this time, Emperor Go-Daigo was the ruler of Japan.
Important Events During Karyaku
- March 8, 1327 (which was the 14th day of the 2nd month in the second year of Karyaku): People in Japan saw a total eclipse of the moon. This means the moon was completely hidden by Earth's shadow.
