Kate Moore (born 1979) is an Australian composer who lives in the Netherlands. She was born in Oxfordshire, England. Kate studied music with many famous composers. These included Australian composers Larry Sitsky, Jim Cotter, and Michael Smetanin. She also learned from Dutch composers like Louis Andriessen and Martijn Padding.

In 2022, Kate Moore won the Gieskes-Strijbis Podiumprijs, a special award. In June 2017, she made history. She became the first woman to win the Matthijs Vermeulen Award. This award is from the Netherlands Funds for the Performing Arts. She won it for her music piece called The Dam.
