Katerina Stikoudi (born April 16, 1985) is a famous Greek singer, actress, and TV host. She is also a model, businesswoman, and was once a champion swimmer.

Katerina first became known in 2001 when she placed fifth in the national swimming championship. After that, she started a career in modeling and television. In 2005, she won the title of Miss Hellas, which is a big beauty pageant in Greece. She then represented Greece in the Miss World 2005 competition.

Over the years, Katerina has hosted many TV shows like Proinos Kafes and Mega Star. She has also acted in TV series such as Erotas and in movies like The Treasure. In 2009, she began her music career, releasing her first album, I Mousiki mou (My Music), in 2011. She has released four more albums since then.

Early Life and Swimming

Katerina Stikoudi was born and grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her father, Nikos, was a greengrocer, and her mother, Ntina, was a school teacher.

Katerina started swimming when she was 8 years old. She joined the PAOK swimming academy. As a teenager, she became a professional swimmer for PAOK. In 2001, at just 16, she achieved fifth place in the national swimming championship.

Katerina's Career Journey

Starting as a Model and TV Host (2002-2008)

At 17, Katerina began her modeling career in Thessaloniki. She did photoshoots and appeared on TV while still in school. After graduating in 2003, she went to college in Larissa. She studied Medical Laboratories and Dentistry. At the same time, she also studied Arts and Theatre. After three semesters, she decided to leave college to join a national beauty pageant.

In 2005, Katerina entered the National Annual Beauty Pageant of Greece. On April 18, she made it to the semi-finals. The next day, she was in the finals and became Miss Hellas 2005. Soon after, she moved to Athens and started modeling for magazines like Telerama and OK! Greece. On December 10, she represented Greece at Miss World 2005 in China, finishing in the top 20.

By the end of 2005, Katerina started acting in the TV show Erotas. She played the character Violetta until 2006. She also became a host for the morning talk show La Sousourela. In 2006, she moved to ANT1 to host a beauty and fashion section on Proinos Kafes. She hosted several beauty contests too. In 2007, she joined the comedy series Daddy's Girls as Celia Roda.

Music Career and TV Success (2008-2011)

In August 2008, Katerina became the new host of Mega Star on Mega Channel. This was a very popular and long-running music talk show. She presented music news and interviewed singers every Saturday. She hosted the show successfully until May 2011, when it ended.

While hosting Mega Star, Katerina also acted. In 2009, she had a small role in the movie Soula Ela Xana. That same year, DJ Lava asked her to sing on his new rap song, Tora (Now). The song became a big hit in Greece. She also hosted the Greek version of Guinness World Record Show in Milan. From 2009 to 2010, she appeared in the comedy show I Polykatoikia.

In 2010, Katerina decided to start her solo singing career. She signed with Cobalt Music. Her first song was Emmoni (Obsession) with the rap group NEBMA, which was a big hit. She also went on her first summer music tour. From 2010 to 2011, she was a contestant on the singing talent show Just the 2 Of Us. In June 2011, she performed a duet with Mohombi at the MAD Video Music Awards. After Mega Star was canceled, she focused on her music. Singing, Movies, and TV Shows (2012-2020)

In 2012, Katerina performed with famous singers like Nikos Oikonomopoulos and Elli Kokkinou. She also released several music videos for her songs. She continued performing in music halls. In 2013, her song Psila Takounia (High Heels) became a big radio hit. In October 2013, she joined the show Dancing with the Stars. She finished as the runner-up in February 2014.

In 2014, she released her second album, "I Gefsi tis Zois mou (The Flavor of my Life)", which had many romantic songs. She continued performing and made a guest appearance on the comedy series Your Family. In 2015, her third album, "Cliché", came out. She performed a Greek version of Nicki Minaj's song "Hey Mama" at MadWalk. She also toured Greece for nine months.

In 2019, Katerina joined the talent show Your Face Sounds Familiar. She impressed everyone by imitating artists like Cher and Nicki Minaj. She was the runner-up of the show. In March, she released her fourth album, Soundtrack. She also performed at EuroPride 2019 in Vienna. From September 2019 to May 2020, she had a main role in the TV show If I were rich. In December, she made her theater debut in the musical Annie. She also returned to TV hosting in January 2020 with the fashion show My Style Rocks.

Recent Projects and Trap Music (2021-Today)

In 2021, Katerina returned to Your Face Sounds Familiar for its All Star version. She played artists like Shakira and Billy Idol. She also released new songs like Grande and Revenge, which were influenced by Greek-trap music.

In September 2021, Katerina became a host for Just the 2 Of Us again, eleven years after being a contestant. On October 15, just before her first child was born, she released her fifth album, Grande. She also appeared in the comedy movie The Black Bachelor 4. In June 2022, she was a guest judge on The Masked Singer. She performed at the MAD Video Music Awards and at EuroPride 2022 in Thessaloniki and Belgrade. In October, she acted in the musical The Full Monty. In March 2023, she starred in the new comedy movie The groom is shaved in the end.

Katerina's Personal Life

In January 2009, Katerina Stikoudi started dating music producer and rapper Vangelis Serifis. They met when he was a guest on her show Mega Star. On August 25, 2018, after being together for a long time, they got married in Thesprotia. On October 18, 2021, Katerina and Vangelis welcomed their son, Byron Serifis.
