Playing for Japan's National Team
Kazu Naoki was born on March 23, 1918. He was a student at Tokyo Imperial University when he made his debut for the Japan national team. This happened on June 16, 1940.
Japan played against the Philippines in that match and won. This game was very important because it was the first international match for Japan since the 1936 Summer Olympics. It was also the only international match Japan played in the 1940s. This was mainly because of World War II.
Sadly, Kazu Naoki died in an accident shortly after World War II ended.
