Kazuhisa Kono (河野 和久, Kono Kazuhisa, born December 30, 1950) is a former Japanese football player. He was born on December 30, 1950. Kono played as a defender and was also a member of the Japan national team.

Starting His Career

Kazuhisa Kono was born in Hiroshima, Japan. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Hitachi in 1969. He played as a defender for Hitachi for many years.

Winning Championships

During his time with Hitachi, the club achieved great success. In 1972, they won two major titles: the Japan Soccer League and the Emperor's Cup. This was a fantastic year for the team!

Hitachi continued to win more trophies. They lifted the 1975 Emperor's Cup and the 1976 JSL Cup. Kazuhisa Kono played in 113 league games for Hitachi. He retired from playing club football in 1980.

Representing His Country

Kazuhisa Kono also had the honor of playing for the Japan national team. He made his first appearance for the national team on February 20, 1974. His debut match was against the Hong Kong team.

He played one game for the national team in 1974.
