Kearney, North Carolina facts for kids
Kearney is a small, unincorporated community located in the northern part of Franklin County, North Carolina, in the United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
Kearney is situated north-northeast of the town of Louisburg. It sits at an elevation of about 394 feet (120 meters) above sea level. The main roads that pass through this community are U.S. Highway 401, along with Fuller Road (which is also known as SR 1401) and Tollie Weldon Road (also SR 1401). These roads help connect Kearney to other places in the area.
