Kearny Junction facts for kids
Kearny Junction was a special spot on the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad main line. It was located in Kearny, New Jersey. Think of it like a railway intersection where different train tracks meet up.
Just a little bit west of Kearny Junction, another important railway line joined in. This was called the Harrison Cut-off. It connected to Kingsland. So, Kearny Junction was a key place where trains could switch tracks or join different routes. It helped trains travel smoothly across New Jersey.
