Keckiella is a group of cool plants that belong to the plantain family. These plants are often called keckiellas. You might also hear them called beardtongues or penstemons. That's because some Keckiella plants used to be part of the Penstemon group. Keckiellas grow naturally in the American Southwest, especially in California.
