Club Career
Kei Mikuriya was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, on August 29, 1977. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey.
Playing for Yokohama Marinos
In 1996, Kei Mikuriya joined Yokohama Marinos. He played as a right-side midfielder in his first season. However, in 1997, he did not get many chances to play.
Moving to Vegalta Sendai
In 1998, Mikuriya moved to Brummell Sendai. This team later changed its name to Vegalta Sendai. Here, he played many matches as a left-side back. By the year 2000, his playing time decreased. He decided to retire from football at the end of the 2000 season.
National Team Career
Kei Mikuriya also represented his country. In June 1997, he was chosen to join the Japan U-20 national team.
Playing in the World Youth Championship
