Keilee Alyssa Joseph (born 19 January 2002) is a talented Australian professional rugby league player. She plays as a lock for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Women's Premiership (NRLW). Keilee has also played for the Australian national team. She has represented the Indigenous All Stars and the Queensland state team.

Her Early Life and Beginnings

Keilee Joseph was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She has Indigenous Australian heritage, which is an important part of her background.

She went to Marsden State High School. Later, she earned a special scholarship for rugby league at Mabel Park State High School. This helped her focus on her passion for the sport.

Keilee started playing junior rugby league for the Waterford Demons. This team was in Meadowbrook. Her own father, Shane Joseph, was her coach. She also showed great leadership skills early on. She even became the captain of the Queensland under-19 team.

2021 Season Highlights

Keilee made her big debut for the Sydney Roosters on 27 February 2022. This was during the first round of the 2021 NRL Women's season. She came off the bench in a game against the Brisbane Broncos.

In round three, Keilee scored her very first try for the Roosters. This helped her team win 28–12 against the Newcastle Knights. On 10 April 2022, she played in the Grand Final. The Sydney Roosters won against the St George Illawara Dragons. This victory secured the club's first-ever NRLW premiership. During the 2021 season, Keilee scored two tries in six games. She came off the interchange bench in all her appearances.

2022 Season Achievements

Keilee played in all five rounds for the Sydney Roosters in the 2022 NRL Women's season. Her team won the NRLW minor premiership on 18 September. This meant they finished at the top of the ladder before the finals.

Keilee was also recognized for her great performance. She was named in the "Dream Team" by the Rugby League Players Association. This special team is chosen by the players themselves. Each player votes for who they think is the best in each position.

In November, Keilee achieved another huge milestone. She made her debut for the Australian national team. This was at the 2021 Women's Rugby League World Cup. She played two games in the tournament. Her country went on to win the World Cup, which was a fantastic achievement.
