2021 NRLW Season Highlights
Keilee Joseph made her first big debut in the NRLW on 27 February 2022. This was in the first game of the 2021 NRL Women's season, which was played a bit later than usual. She played for the Sydney Roosters against the Brisbane Broncos. Keilee came into the game from the interchange bench, meaning she was a substitute player who came on during the match.
In her third game, she scored her very first try for the Roosters! This happened in a game where her team won 28–12 against the Newcastle Knights. On 10 April 2022, Keilee was part of the Sydney Roosters team that won the Grand Final. They beat the St George Illawarra Dragons, which was a huge win and the club's first NRLW premiership. During the 2021 season, Keilee scored two tries in six games, always coming off the bench.
2022 NRLW Season and International Debut
In the 2022 NRL Women's season, Keilee played in all five games for the Sydney Roosters. Her team had a fantastic season and won the NRLW minor premiership on 18 September. This means they finished at the top of the ladder before the finals. Keilee's great performance was recognized when she was chosen for the "Dream Team" by the Rugby League Players Association. Players from all teams voted for who they thought were the best players in each position.
Later in November, Keilee got to play for her country! She made her debut for Australia at the 2021 Women's Rugby League World Cup. This tournament was also delayed and played in 2022. Keilee played in two games as Australia went on to win the World Cup, which was a huge achievement for her.
