Kejsi Tola (born May 3, 1992) is a talented Albanian singer and songwriter. She became well-known after winning the 47th Festivali i Këngës. This win allowed her to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

Kejsi Tola's Music Journey

Early Life and Talent Shows

Kejsi Tola started performing when she was just six years old. She studied at the Jordan Misja Artistic Lyceum, a special art school. At age 11, she won a competition called Young Voices of Albania. She also won Young Voices of Shkodra twice.

Kejsi was a finalist in a show called Gjeniu i vogël. She also won the fourth season of Ethet. This show was the Albanian version of the popular Pop Idol series.

Eurovision Song Contest

In 2008, Kejsi Tola was chosen to compete in the 47th Festivali i Këngës. This is a big music festival in Albania. She performed the song "Më merr në ëndërr". On December 21, Kejsi won the competition with 126 points.

This victory meant she would represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. The contest took place in Moscow, Russia. Kejsi performed her song during the second semi-final. She successfully made it to the grand final. In the final, she finished in 17th place with 48 points.

Later Music and Studies

After Eurovision, Kejsi continued her music career. In late 2009, she competed again in Festivali i Këngës. Her song was "Ndonjëherë". She finished 15th in the final. After this, Kejsi decided to take a break from music competitions. She wanted to focus on studying classical singing. She attended the University of Arts in Tirana.

In 2010, Kejsi returned to Festivali i Këngës 49 with the song "Pranë". This was her third time in the competition. She performed in the second semi-final but did not reach the final.

Kejsi participated in Festivali i Këngës 51 in 2012. Her song was "S'jemi më atje". She made it to the final and finished in 4th place with 42 points.

In 2014, Kejsi joined Kënga Magjike with her song "Iceberg". She placed 5th and also received an award for the song's production. She returned to Kënga Magjike in 2018 with "Më ke mua". This song was nominated for Best Song of the Year at the 2019 Kult Awards.

In 2023, Kejsi was selected for Festivali i Këngës 62. She was going to perform "Vallëzoj me dritën". However, she later decided to withdraw from the competition.
