Kelly Bachand was born in the United States. He lives in Kent, Washington. He is known for his amazing skills with different types of firearms. A competitive shooter takes part in contests to see who can shoot targets most accurately.
Early Success in Shooting
Kelly started winning big competitions early on. In 2007, he won a gold medal with the "Young Eagles" team. This team was for shooters under 21 years old. They became World Champions!
In 2009, Kelly won the Canadian Target Rifle Championship. He also came in first place in seven other shooting contests that year. He won the NW International Prone Championship and the WA State 600 Yard Prone Championship. These wins showed he was a top shooter.

In 2010, Kelly Bachand joined the first season of Top Shot. This TV show on the History Channel features skilled shooters competing in challenges.
Season 1 Competition
During the first part of the show, Kelly was on the Red Team. His team won two challenges. Kelly was nominated for elimination three times. Each time, he won the elimination challenges and stayed in the competition. He was eliminated during the second week of the final part of the show.
Later Appearances
In 2012, Kelly returned to Top Shot for its fourth season. He appeared as an expert. He helped coach the contestants. He taught them how to make very long-distance shots.
In 2013, Kelly competed again in the fifth season of Top Shot. He finished in ninth place.
Representing the USA
Kelly Bachand has also represented the United States in international competitions. In 2011, he was a coach for the USA Young Eagles Rifle Team. They traveled to Brisbane, Australia, for the World Long Range Championships.
Kelly was also a shooter on the US Palma Team during the same trip. He competed in the World Long Range Championships himself. He shot in both the "Open" category and the "Under-25" category. In the "Open" category, he finished 29th in the world. In the "Under-25" category, he placed second.
