Kelly Lee Carlson (born February 17, 1976) is an American actress and model. She is most famous for playing Kimber Henry in the popular TV drama series Nip/Tuck.

Life and Career
Early Life and Modeling
Kelly Carlson grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. She went to the Academy of Holy Angels high school. Before she became a famous actress, she worked as a model. She appeared in ads for brands like Miller Lite, Rembrandt toothpaste, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses.
Her modeling work made her well-known. She was featured in popular magazines in 2004.
Acting Career
Carlson began her career in theater. She acted in plays like Girls Guide to Chaos and Charlotte's Web. In 2001, she had a small part in the movie 3000 Miles to Graceland.
Her big break came in 2003 when she was cast in the TV show Nip/Tuck. Her character, Kimber Henry, was only supposed to be in the first episode. But audiences liked her so much that she became a main character on the show. She stayed with Nip/Tuck until it ended in 2010.
Besides Nip/Tuck, Carlson also acted in movies. She was in Paparazzi (2004), The Marine (2006), and Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004). She also had a role in the comedy Made of Honor (2008) with Patrick Dempsey.
She made guest appearances on many TV shows, including Everwood, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Monk, and The Finder.
After Nip/Tuck, Carlson had a recurring role on the TV show Melrose Place. She also appeared in Ghostfacers, an online show connected to the popular series Supernatural.
Charity Work
Carlson is a spokesperson for Smile Network International. This group helps children in developing countries get surgery for facial problems.
She also loves horses and has been riding since she was seven. In 2010, she worked to help pass a law to protect American horses. She is also a sponsor and volunteer for groups like LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society and Wounded Warriors, which helps injured soldiers.
Personal Life
In 2015, Carlson married Dan Stanchfield, who was in the United States Navy. She decided to retire from acting in 2013 when he was moved to a new base in San Diego. She wanted to support his career.
However, she returned for one last role in a faith-based movie in 2020. Carlson is also trained in Kali, a form of martial arts.
