Ken Fujita (藤田 健, Fujita Ken, born August 27, 1979) (former name; Ken Ota, 太田 健) is a former Japanese football player.

Ken Fujita's Football Journey
Ken Fujita was born in Hamamatsu, Japan, on August 27, 1979. He became a professional football player, also known as a soccer player. He played as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both attack and defend.
Early Career and First Club
Fujita started his journey in football with the youth team of Júbilo Iwata. This club plays in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. He joined their main team in 1998. However, he did not get to play in any official matches during that year. He left the club at the end of the 1998 season.
Time at Ventforet Kofu
After two years, Ken Fujita joined Ventforet Kofu in 2001. This club was in the J2 League, which is the second-highest league in Japan. He quickly became a very important player for the team. He played many games as an attacking midfielder.
From 2002 to 2010, he proudly wore the number 10 jersey for Ventforet Kofu. This number is often given to the team's most creative and important attacking player.
Ventforet Kofu's Rise and Fall
When Fujita joined, Ventforet Kofu finished last in the J2 League in 2001. But things started to get better! From 2002 to 2004, the team usually finished in the middle of the league standings.
In 2005, Ventforet Kofu had a fantastic season. They finished in third place, which helped them get promoted to the J1 League in 2006. This was a big achievement for the club and for Fujita.
The team played in the J1 League for a couple of years. However, they were relegated back to the J2 League in 2008. Even so, the club managed to get promoted back to the J1 League for the 2011 season.
Despite the team's success in getting promoted again, Ken Fujita was released from the club at the end of the 2010 season. He had played a total of 354 matches and scored 41 goals for Ventforet Kofu during his time there.
Final Club and Retirement
After leaving Ventforet Kofu, Ken Fujita joined an Estonian club called Tallinna Kalev in 2012. He played for them for one season. At the end of 2012, Ken Fujita decided to retire from professional football.
