Kenneth Bernard Jackson, often called Ken Jackson, was born on August 21, 1963. He is a former professional baseball player. Ken played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1987.

Early Life and High School Baseball
Ken Jackson grew up in Waskom, Texas. He went to Waskom High School. In 1980, when he was a junior, he helped his school's baseball team win a state championship! The next year, in 1981, he led Waskom to the state finals again.
When he was in high school, Ken played as a pitcher. However, because he was not very tall, he changed positions. He became an infield player when he went to Angelina College.
From College to Pro Baseball
In 1982, Ken Jackson signed a contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. This was a big step for him! He then started his professional baseball career. His first professional team was in Helena, Montana.
Playing in the Major Leagues
Ken Jackson made it to the Major Leagues in 1987. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies. He played his first MLB game on September 12, 1987. His last game was on October 3, 1987. During his time in the MLB, he had a batting average of .250. He also had 2 runs batted in.
