Ken Murphy's Early Life and Education
Ken Murphy grew up in Cork, Ireland. He went to Christian Brothers College for his schooling. After that, he studied at University College Cork, where he earned a bachelor's degree.
He also attended a special program at Harvard Business School. This program helps business leaders learn even more about managing large companies. Ken Murphy is also a trained accountant. He worked as an accountant after finishing college in 1988.
Ken Murphy's Career Journey
Ken Murphy started his career at a big company called Procter & Gamble. This company makes many everyday products you might use. When he was 22, he became a finance director at Alliance UniChem. This company was a large wholesaler for medicines. It later became part of Boots UK.
In 2013, Ken Murphy took on a new role at Boots. He became the managing director for health and beauty products. He also managed the international business and brands for Boots.
