Ken Tokura (都倉 賢, Tokura Ken, born 16 June 1986 in Shibuya, Tokyo) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a Forward. Currently, he plays for Tochigi City FC on loan from Iwate Grulla Morioka.

Early Life and Youth Teams

Ken Tokura was born in Shibuya, a city in Tokyo, Japan. He started playing football at a young age. He joined the youth teams of two famous Japanese clubs. From 1999 to 2001, he played for Yokohama F. Marinos. Then, from 2002 to 2004, he played for Kawasaki Frontale.

Professional Football Career

Ken Tokura began his professional career in 2005. He has played for several teams in Japan. He is known for scoring many goals.

Starting at Kawasaki Frontale

Ken started his senior career with Kawasaki Frontale in 2005. He played there for a few years. He gained experience as a young forward.

Success at Thespa Kusatsu

In 2008, Ken joined Thespa Kusatsu. He had a very successful time there. In the 2009 season, he scored 23 goals in 43 league games. This showed he was a talented goal scorer.

Time with Vissel Kobe

After his great performance, Ken moved to Vissel Kobe in 2010. He continued to play well for the team. In 2012, he scored a cool long-distance goal. He celebrated it in a fun way, similar to how Mario Balotelli celebrated a goal in Euro 2012. The referee gave him a yellow card for the celebration.

Playing for V-Varen Nagasaki

After Cerezo, Ken moved to V-Varen Nagasaki in 2021. He made his debut for V-Varen against Zweigen Kanazawa. He came into the game in the 67th minute. He scored his first goal for the club against Renofa Yamaguchi.

Current Clubs: Iwate Grulla Morioka and Tochigi City FC

In 2024, Ken Tokura joined Iwate Grulla Morioka, a club in the J3 League. Then, in December 2024, he joined Tochigi City FC on loan. He started playing for Tochigi City FC in the 2025 season.
