Kenan Doğulu (born May 31, 1974) is a famous Turkish pop musician. He is a talented singer, songwriter, and composer. In 2007, he proudly represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki. He did very well, finishing in fourth place with 163 points. In 2006, Kenan released his popular album Festival. This album included the hit song "Çakkıdı," which he created with another famous singer, Sezen Aksu.

Kenan Doğulu comes from a very musical family.
- His father, Yurdaer Doğulu, was also a musician.
- His brother, Ozan Doğulu, is a well-known musician too.
- His sister, Cenan Doğulu, is a fashion designer.
Kenan shared in an interview that his family has roots from different parts of Turkey. His grandfather was from Antep, and his father was from Adana. He also mentioned that his last name, "Doğulu," means "from the East." His first name, "Kenan," is linked to the ancient land of Canaan.
In February 2012, Kenan Doğulu started dating the actress Beren Saat. They got engaged in Istanbul on February 23, 2014. Later that year, on July 29, 2014, they got married in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, United States.
Kenan's Musical Journey
Kenan Doğulu started his musical journey at a very young age.
- When he was just five years old, he joined a conservatory to study piano. He even got first place!
- He studied piano for six years.
- He also learned to play the flute from his teacher Erkan Alpay.
- Erdem Sökmen taught him how to play the guitar.
- Besides instruments, Kenan also studied theater and sang in a children's choir. He even learned to play different rhythm instruments.
His Education
Kenan finished his high school studies at Kültür College. After that, he went to the USA to study.
- He completed a "Communication" program at Hesser College in New Hampshire.
- Then, he started studying at the L.A. Musicians Institute.
- He later returned to Turkey and continued his education at Istanbul Bilgi University.
